Kids can register this week in the SOUTH PARK! This summer activity program will run from JUNE 23 to AUGUST 8th. Brookside Village is footing the bill…(that’s right, we are paying a few lucky members’ registration fees,) so hurry! NOTE: Brookside Village will pay for the first 20 registrants, or up to $200.
The program will run on:
MONDAY/WEDNESDAY/FRIDAY from 10:00am to 1:00pm
and on TUESDAY/THURSDAY from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

Join us this WEDNESDAY for a Concert in the Park! The Canton Concert Band will be playing in the South Park this Wednesday June 25, from 7-9pm. It’s absolutely free of charge. Sit amongst the stars and listen to live music with your family!

SUMMER 2008 PARKS PROGRAM
If you haven’t checked it out before, this is the summer to get outside and bring your kids to the Summer Parks Program! Brookside Village makes a small donation every year to have the program available to all of our residents for a nominal fee. This fun, interactive program is packed full of fun activities and events and will run in our SOUTH PARK from JUNE 23 to AUGUST 8th.

Water park minutes away
A Water Park located in Lower Huron Metro Park opened May 24th. Known as ”Turtle Cove”, it is located about 20 miles south on Haggerty at Haggerty and Savage Roads in Belleville.
This $9.4 million facility will feature 5 acreas fun just 15 or 20 minutes from your front door! It will have two waterslides, an activity pool, a lazy river and a water spray area. The shallow section of the pool will have a zero depth entry and water play features, such as ground sprays for children: the deeper end will have a lap swimming area. Slides, sprays and a dumping bucket of water will be the focal point of the waterspray area. There will be a Food Bar and changing/restroom facilities. “Turtle Cove” will accommodate up to 1,400 people with parking for 500 cars.
A $20 annual pass (reciprical at 13 Metro Parks in the area) or $4 day pass may be purchased at the entrance kiosk.
