The Brookside Egg Hunt has been held annually for 20+ years and 2009 is no exception. Residents are encouraged to be at the Brookside South Park by 2 PM. There will be 5 age categories: 0-4, 5-6,7-8,9-10 and 11-13. (The latest Bugle mistakenly said it was for 12 and under). Children will need to bring something to gather plastic eggs in. The eggs contain candy, coupons and prize tickets for exchange for a prize. Participants are asked to turn in their plastic eggs at the Prize/Egg Return tables after the event. Those turning in their plastic eggs will receive coupons good for various freebies and discounts at community businesses. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photo ops and will be passing out a few goodies also. The event will take place rain or shine ( unless rain is torrential).
