Please—No Dumping!
This is another friendly REMINDER TO NOT DUMP YOUR GARBAGE AND YARD WASTE IN THE COMMON AREAS AND EASEMENTS OF OUR SUBDIVISION. This includes the wooded areas along the eastern-most edge of our subdivision—no matter who owns the property. (In fact, Brookside Village residents have been seen by a former Board member doing just that!) Garbage and yard waste can be set out at the curb for pickup every week on Thursday mornings. Thank you for your consideration!

Warm weather brings all sorts of outdoor activites… But, as a homeowner association, the BVHA does not sanction fireworks activities. Please do not bring your fireworks into the subdivision parks. If you do choose to enjoy a few fireworks at your home, PLEASE be considerate of your neighbors. Refer to the Canton Ordinance regarding fireworks, Sec. 46-264, which includes: “consumer fireworks shall not be…used …at any time, except on the day preceding, the day of, or the day after a national holiday” (without a permit); and “… shall not be ignited or discharged within 70 ft of any building, or on any public street.” Also visit www.FireworksSafety.org for fireworks safety tips.

PARK MOWING AND PLAYSCAPE WOOD CHIPS June 1, 2015

We ask that our residents please be patient with the condition of our parks this week. Our lawn care company cannot mow when the grass is wet, and to get their heavy trucks to the playscapes to dump in new wood chips, the ground must have at least 4 days to dry out. Keep your fingers crossed for lots of sunshine and dry weather!
